What We Believe
At Turner Monumental AME Church, we exist to connect ordinary people to an extraordinary God. Our foundation is rooted in the historic faith and rich legacy of the African Methodist Episcopal Church—a denomination born out of a commitment to spiritual freedom, social justice, and full inclusion in the body of Christ.
We honor our heritage while embracing the future. As a multiracial, multicultural, and multigenerational congregation, we believe that God’s church should reflect the diversity of God's creation. Here, people from all walks of life are welcome and valued.
Our faith is anchored in belief in the Holy Trinity, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the sacred authority of Scripture. We are guided by a Wesleyan tradition that values both heartfelt worship and practical faith—lived out in service, discipleship, and love for our neighbors.
